Again unpopular opinion! I still don't think Batuk is motivated by patriarchy and regressive thoughts... This obsession about a fair boy baby is actually an attempt to get his Big D back... So Batuk wants the baby to be like Ani in every way... Which is also terrible, but not patriarchy...

1. Bondita was Prepared By Anirudh to go to London for days & days

2. Her aim was decided to be #BarristerBabu Bondita Long time ago even before she decided to go there

Batuk would have been a great artist / painter.(Based on Manorama Track's Scene).

He was not so keen on studies.

(Am not able to share this tweet properly but ya this user really has a point! Ever human is grey shaded, though I hated when Bondita unnecessarily behaved rudely with Manorama. Tupur and Batuk somewhat seem to be on the same boat. Every character has its own charm and reasons)

Batuk has got negative traits of his father and uncle - Binoy drinks and goes to bar (earlier) and Trilochan has an orthodox mindset. Anirudh has surely become like his mother but also got some traits from them like getting angry quickly, fitoori. Somnath Anirudh ke sath rehte rehte uska mindset apna liya Shayad par apne baba ki tarah aggressive aur extreme hate dikhata hai apne Dushman ke taraf.
