Tht means they r scared of loosing shivi fd😳. But instead of rectifying their mistakes by reviving shivas character back to its place, they try to fool us with a 2 min bonus shivi scene 🤡

Is he not going to make Raavi more jealous by going to the couples contest with Disha? He is not addressing the kiss issue. So there is no question of redeeming him.

We will get lollipop scenes like today to keep the FD happy with Raavi being a dobi and jealous.

You wait and watch they will stretch this track to the max

I was going to write this after i had rewatched episode: and saw IF article.

We are in for a big reset & let's see how long this can sustain.

They knew & that's why the scene was given yesterday. Those kind of scenes we will keep getting , and they will keep playing out steady pyaar, SR & everything of disu with siva.

When I watched the scene again, it did give a boit of eerie feel- Raavi in her character was upset. but is herself not able to understand how to deal with this emotion. + she has noone to talk to.

Shiva has whole family. A mute silent support even if he kills someone. MAx they will push him for a few days & than back to normal.

Raavi was right in her thought process. She has positively tried to make things work. Every time post sneha Shiva pushed her away. He was not ready to talk at all. And at that time Mommy Suman never even bothered to pay attention to her son's dillemas or his 'confidence'.

Shiva has physically abused, pushed, emotionally harrased, gaslighted Raavi to extreme - many a times. " naa tere aane ki khushi - naaa tere jaane ka ghum" - He said it & That perhaps IS the truth.

On the name of making her jealous- He is indeed going into Adultery. Emotional, mental & physical adultery in terms of new companionship.

Every time he spends time with Disu - even if on mom's insistence (since when did Shiva become SO fickle?) - he is emotionally & mentally CHEATING on his still legal wife. Who STILL lives with him. And he apparently he STILL has dil ke kone mein jagah for her. The only problem is HE has never let her know about these positive feelings ever. he just wants her to 'understand' SHE has to do everything. She has to bend over backwards to satisfy his thoughts, his feelings, his needs.

Isn't a marriage a two ways street? Has he cared for her feelings?

Has he forgotten divorce was initiated by himself , Raavi was literally shaking signing it. Did he forget the public character assassination he did? Does it ever occur to Pandyas, this girl will be looked at with squinty hush talks about the assassination he did, all questioning her on her character? Has he even bothered to ask what she will do post-divorce? Does he even CARE beyond caressing?

Looking at dance & couple contest (Why is No one offended to allow them to participate as couple, RIshita- hello, where is your girl power?)

More than Suman- this track shows DOWNWARD DROP of Shiva as a character.

This man indeed is insecure. (induced by family, who never correct anyone who insulted/ laughed at him and now conviniently putting it all on Raavi)

His zero flinch at facing his wife post a peck from a girl who was hitting on him - was cold blooded creepy.

Men like this are the ones who go for Shopping H...ers on the name of tiff with wife. and blame it all on her. they conveniently claim their weakness to be because of wife.

Adultery is NEVER a cute thing. Is it 'jealousy' or is it 'Hurt' with disgust, confusion, selfdoubt? Will Shiva or for that matter anyone from family bother to look at it from Raavi's angle?

His softness & amusement at 'jealous' rection, his STILL indifferent attitude rather laughed off attitude after knowing Raavi saw this- didn't match with his sofftness. Did it?

And even after this, instead of staying firm- He will GO AHEAD for couple contest. AFTER Raamleela & Agnipariksha. What a fall Shiva.

We know it will all be sorted, but Part of Shiva was already invested in Disu , very happily willingly invested. And That missing part will always leave a void in their relationship -which will never mend. Dil me hole.

"Naa khushi Naa ghum ... pehli fursat mein nikal" That is Shiva pandya- rest all was a sheep cover. That's how it seems now.

Can't agree morel 👏they successfully ruined Shiva...

I may like Shivi scenes in future because of Kdice acting but spark of their equation is gone😶😶

Shiva is indeed insecure spineless man... I do hated Raavi that she never understood him and push him towards his insecurities...But now all I can do to sympathise for her😔😔 I don't know what kind of apology will help him to redeem the damage he had done or he will ever realize that he was wrong or not...

Just Chaubey's baksh de humein ab koi yeh na bole ki "Mera Shiva heera hai" I swear uss bande ko Pandya's niwas ke kuye phek dena chahiye😵

It really looks like it is going this way ❤️

There are some issues with execution but they have gone past marriage! I guess that's what neither Shiva nor Raavi seems to care much about that kiss, apart from comedy

Disclaimer: This post doesn't condone adultery which is a severe problem. My problem with the track remains that they are MARRIED on papers. Though they have a broken relationship, Shivi has never really been a typical husband and wife. For Shiva, it has been more about being loved. For Raavi, it was more about a failed marriage. I am taking the creative liberty of the show makers with a pinch of salt.

I am trying to present another point of view in the perpetual battle between the matters of the heart & the laws of the land. The beauty of fiction is its distant detachment and various emotions it evokes during its journey. Pieces of fiction on ITV have strong moral yardsticks given the reach of the households as such. Any debauchery draws flak, criticism and strong reactions, and rightfully so. In our society, women and their status are ambiguous, and any caricaturish representation further normalises such behaviour against them. Raavi DESERVES better and not this!!! That's a fact! My heart melts to see the girl doomed right from the word GO!

As a distant piece of fiction or characters, I like the current track except for the nasty being legally married on paper. But, such things happen in life. I know of someone who was waiting for A formal sign-on divorce to be stamped. She went on a mad liaison with someone during that period, and it just helped her cope better with the downward spiral of low self-esteem. Was it right? Maybe not! But she felt better. Her sanity was preserved.

I like Shiva as a compelling character, not because of his questionable hypocrisy but because of the layers are given to him in the grey too! He is idiotic, chaotic, hypocritical, boxed, chauvinist and loving with a heart full of passion. He makes you hate him with Shiddat.

I was watching a video interview of Alankrita Shrivastava where she stressed the fact that subversive characters need not be necessarily Morally correct.

So, taking everything with a pinch of salt.

If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

Validation, acceptance & Matters of the Heart in the context of Shiva:

Human beings from thousands of years have always sought confirmation, approval and being loved for what they are. Whether it was a validation for the choice of mate, later guarantee for being strong enough when they started living in communities, and then the peer pressure to look a certain way to be accepted as per society happened.

In short validation, acceptance is at the core of every human being. While we may be greatly upset with that peck and Shiva’s nonchalant peaceful reaction, it doesn't negate the fact that it did give him a miniscule second of relief and sense of peace that maybe he deserves to be accepted the way he is.

That sense of peace when you are spiralling downward in the muddy whirlpool of self-doubt, misery and insecurity. That sense of reassurance calms down frazzled nerves and gives a renewed feeling of tranquillity.

Does that mean one falls in love or commits emotional infidelity? Maybe no!
Does that give a sense of confidence? Yes
Does this help in self-preservation? Yes

Does it help to move on? No, it doesn't. Only time does. Despite being validated, nurtured and loved during this catapulted spiral, the sunken and punctured hollowness of the heart remains trapped in the debris of a broken relationship.

Disha walking in between the madness that already exists between Shivi further adds fuel to the fire that consumes them.

Marriage for them is not their making or breaking point, it just gave a focussed dimensional plane to their world where everything else around them ceases to exist.

Disha has been introduced as a perfect foil to Raavi:
1. Someone who appreciates Shiva for who he is, and for becoming someone whom she desires
2. Someone who chooses him Out of choice and not in a forced situation or compromise.

3. Someone who is grounded and with her feet on the ground contrasts with Raavi, who is supposed to be an airhead.
4. Someone who likes bad boys as compared to gentlemen in case of Raavi. That's another story that Shiva is a bad boy only when it comes to Raavi. As per Raavi ‘woh hath piche karke Good boy ki tarah Disha se chipka tha😆’

In short, the facets of compatibility and Sukoon for Shiva has been set, in contrast with the Junoon and madness with Raavi.

Shiva & Disha, furthermore winning the contest, will deliberately create a plot point where Compatibility Vs compromise will come up.

That again presets the tone for “matters of the heart vs the laws of the land.’

Shivi defies logic, compatibility and yet their world exists around each other. It's complex, but no matter how hard they try, destiny keeps them together like a moth to a flame.

On papers, it adds a piece of surrealism to their romance and relationship, which is complicated, twisted, bizarre and may not make sense. But, that's how they are - without-fathom, insane and two people in a parasitic relationship with each other.

Is it an ideal relationship? No
Do they belong with each other? For us, maybe no, but they ‘BELONG TO EACH OTHER’

Shiva wants her to CLAIM him! And, that's his zid. Today’s song did summarise him: Ek dil hai, ek jaan hai, dono tujh pe qurbaan hai!

No matter how much compatibility, compromise and love for a gentleman crops up, they are idiots who have a universe of their own.

Who would give a law to lovers? Love is unto itself a higher law.

Boethius,
