And why was he drinking after he promised Pals ??

No matter what Esha did...he gave her the soft corner and opportunity.

Shalini, I saw the eye lock and I can give him a pass for that. To me it didn't feel like unresolved feelings. Yes it's a slippery slope I won't deny but I'd go by bis intentions that he didn't intend to cheat.

I don't absolve him of responsibility though but he was being stupid and naive and not cheating (again slippery slope).

Makers have a habit of taking things extreme. They are going to pin the blame on Esha absolving R completely.

I like that we as a fandom can think of better ways to extend the plot more than the writers of the show who are hired to do the job. SMH. Tbh this is the problem with ongoing - no end date serials. American soaps do a better job of handling the never ending episode plots but they also have like 20 main cast members so it is different lol. A normal prime time show like this shouldn't have unlimited episodes - this is what happens. Too many episodes = running out of plot ideas (although thats their own fault for speeding through tracks and not having any happy tracks) = show the same problem in different scenarios over and over again. Lazy writing.

Honestly, I have had enough of Raghav's similar pattern of behaviour repeatedly. It is always the same... Whatever problem comes, he is scared of losing Pallavi and resorts to lying to protect her.

When will they show some growth from his side? Or will they ever show some growth?

He has even given up smuggling and he is not struggling badly as he feared. So why is he being immature. He needs to stop being this impulsive. Pallavi doesn't deserve this heartbreak. Even if there was no deed done he shouldn't have spent the night with his ex when she was clearly saying she still loves him. Imagine the hurt Pallavi is going to feel. But I know the creatives are going to make Pals say - This is my karma for hurting Raghav when Mandar came back into our life. And then we say why doesn't Indian TV show progressive content. This is the reason why. The writers write everything is the woman's responsibility bas - I would really be happy if Raghav apologizes for the pain and the breach of trust he did to Pallavi. But fat chance - not going to happen.

Growth is lost concept to CVS. They can take all the growth they achieved and throw away in an episode.

Would audience have forgiven if a drugged Pallavi woke up next to Mandar undressed?? No.

Here the man himself drank with his ex, after promising his wife he will never.

Yes but I feel she'll block him out emotionally. He deserves it coz he used to shut her out too. Don't give him the privilege to know how hurt you are

Never it seems like. They just want this to be a "flaw" but people can improve their flaws. You're not tied to your flaws. That's just being a lazy individual if you can't grow. It's annoying to be with someone this insecure. Part of me thinks it's because P is so desperate to have a family bc of her own trauma from being an orphan that she'll just take whatever scraps she can get. That's why she put up with D fam as much as she did. Poor girl. No one on this show is worth her love, no one, except maybe Nikhil, Farhad and Krishna.

Well, that is also a nice possibility... He too shuts her out completely as you mentioned.

And honestly, even though I want her to vent out, I would love it too if she completely blocks him out emotionally.

See ...calling a man supposedly in love with his wife, naive when he is sitting and drinking with his ex ...thats our naivete because we want to hope for the better. He may not have intended to sleep with her , but he was emotional about her. He didnt move away from her hug, he could have called hotel staff to help her, he could have waited in lobby.

See he slept drunk with Pallu around many times, he didnt end up sleeping with her. What is this weirdness. I cannot put my head around it.
