Imagine the wadha thing comes out in the open or the Pakhi asking him to marry him in the cafe? I feel he knows he has messed up. And the telling the truth is really messy and surely will loose his high moral ground.

Putting the blame on Pakhi and moving on is the best solution. Which he is doing now.

He can’t go all negative on Pakhi because she is one obsessive lover who can go to any extent to harm him or Sai or his family. So he tries to keep her in good books and hoping that she will move on with samrat.

I have seen people irl where they make mistake and then apologise and move on🙄 when you question about the repercussions they will tell you it’s not on them because they have apologised and moved on. Virat is like that,

He reminds me of ostrich who buries its head in the sand. He is like that, too self absorbed to introspect and see things clearly. //

But I still feel Virat has some emotional connection with Pakhi..in addition to the ostrich syndrome that she has so nicely explained.

I get confused when it comes to him feeling connected or not...But I do see that he also wants Pakhi's truth to be not out because it tampers his image... He has always ridiculed Sai in private or public every time she spoke about his relationship with Pakhi..He let his family torture her, Patralekha torture her, when she spoke about the truth a day after they were discussing their pious waada... His image is very important to him..His image of a righteous man, his image of a responsible man... and now his image of Sai's only husband and only family.

I was pretty sure about it (emotional connection with Pakhi).....but there were a couple of posts that were making logical points on why it isn't so. So I'm getting a little confused....

Why he doesn't want Pakhi's truth to be out ....makes sense. Remember we were discussing how Samrat will feel if he comes to know of Virat's vaada? As KBC says, Virat knows he messed up big time....

I think it was more to do with , because he was insulted as a husband.. Everyone pointed out how his wife does not listen to him, does not listen to him and the wife wanted to have lunch with another man, when he had his lunch date planned, on top of that revealed it all out. His husband ego was severely damaged...It was more about him and her as husband and wife..and not about Pakhi I guess..

I never thought it this way, maybe he is image conscious and doesn't want in any way to be related to Didi after knowing her fully like he told her after returning from GC🤣

@bold bang on. Every reaction, every action from Virat is for Sai or because of Sai. This is why I feel his reactions and actions are extreme when related to her. She is something unattainable for him and he isn't able to handle the truth on why she can't love him. According to him he has cleared everything and can't understand why she brings up Pakhi in between them all the time. I don't think deal shaadi discussion bothers him as much as when she takes his and Pakhis name together😆. That just riles him up to a different extreme where he considers it to be a taboo which should never be discussed. Like you said he knows he has messed up big time with the stupid Vaada and doesn't want any more discussions related to that topic😆

Also I think, he gets very very jealous when she speaks highly of Pulkit, Mohit or Samrat. For her when its so easy to find something good in others, why cant she find that in him. He wants himself to be her only saviour and her to be exclusively his.

The moment she takes Pakhi's name with him, she just not is misunderstanding his emotions for Pakhi, but is also squashing all his hopes of her , taking her own name with him, to accept him as her husband.
