Yes that is a good thing for viewers. But for an actor who was promised the lead role, it is like cheating. Ankit was receiving a lot of praise for his character and all that changed overnight. It must be a very disheartening thing for him and I feel bad for the guy.

Yeah, but honestly isha was supposed to be a lead too, and there's a point where they could have turned her character into something interesting and complicated but...💁🏽 I wonder if actors have any input in writing process or not, because the EMA was a ridiculous shitfu*kery and it's not worked out for anyone well except priyanka (in itv more tortured nari means more fame).
I'm not concerned with off screen anyone except priyanka so I hope the new guy is great off screen and onscreen with her.
