Other than that, I agree, makers have swapped the order of the brothers uncharacteristically. Lakshman's role was perfect for Shiva, no doubt.

but lakshman majority of the good dialogues are exchanged either with Suparnkha or Raavan… and when we say Raam leela… Its all about Raam ki baarat, Vanvaas, Sanjivani booti, ravan dahan and bharat milap

I don’t remember any lakshman kaand as far as I remember from Childhood memories of Ramleela…

if I look it that way.. it makes sense..

Yeah, character wise Shiva fits Lakshman well, but the scenes the makers chose to portray must be such that Lakshman doesn't receive much importance. We troll Dev's acting and expressions in every single scene.. I hope we don't have to do this in this Ramayan play as well 🤪

Akshay seriously has a long way to go in terms of acting.. if it was a ram lakshman centric scene, then I agree kd as lakshman would be great..but here in bharat milap ,I think lakshman won't be shown to have much dialogues even..devs role will be more or less standing beside with his usual expressions..soorpanakas scene it will be more abt action..its purely technical decision as far as I see for kanwar playing as bharat.

I think the same. I would hate to see Lakshman being destroyed by adbhut acting.. I hope kuch soch samajhke yeh casting decision liya ho 🤞
