And your post is so wrong, because you're judging ONLY from online perspective - which does not even contribute to one-tenth of the channel's revenue. You think the TRP targetted audience care about the fame of an actor? Not at all, they probably don't even care about the name of the actor. If the show doesn't get enough TRP, the channel doesn't think twice before axing it, & no number of trends will help.

The hype Rhea gets is because of Shaheer fans? They like to butter her up? Give me a break dude, what even is all this?? You think Ekta brought Erica on board for KZK because she worked with Shaheer before, or because her fans are joint fans of Shaheer? 😆

There's this show called YHC which is so popular online & TRP wise, that show has both actors as newbies. And that's the only example. Woh credit kisko jaata hai?😆

Now see anupama didn't have any fandom on twitter, but as soon gaurav khanna entered the show there was an explosion, so many ppl started watching the show just for him and they liked his pair with anupama. Even kzk2 though popular online wasn't getting blockbuster trps but as soon hina entered it became number 1 show for a week. The whole Stan twitter wanted yrkkh to end but now since there's news that Harshad has been roped in to play new ml, everybody is excited and keen to know what's going to happen in the next generation storyline. So story is important but sometimes a popular actor takes a mediocre story to another level is what I'm trying to say.

So what is it that you're trying to say or what is it that you thought we were saying against Shaheer?

You agree that Shaheer was disinterested in this season...which is what we are saying

You agree that he is also working for money...again something what we are saying

But from your post I could concluded that you want us to appreciate Shaheer coz he's not leaving the show and Erica is. That's what I understand from the points you are highlighting about him wanting to spend time with baby and producer placing trust on him. Well he has another show along with this in his hand ..why will he be bothered about the storyline? Everyone said that awful hairstyle he's been sporting here is for his webseries...there you go. This season might be extra pocket money for him. That's it.

Now if Erica is unhappy with how role is shaping up or whatever is her reason...she has full rights to do so. Reverse the situation... imagine the producer is the one who has axed the role of an actor... would you have the same sympathy for the producer on whom these actors have placed their trust on? Even in our corporate world...if I think that the job assigned to me is not what was promised to me ... I'll quit. If my manager thinks that I'm not going my job properly... they'll chuck me out. Isme trust kuch nahi hota.

But I disagree. Anupama might have got traction online because of Gaurav but the show is no.1 on Indian TV for months now and is the most popular show offline. Gaurav did not make Anupama a hit. It was already a huge hit. Anupama is actually the most popular show in reality right now and that was much before Gaurav entered. Gaurav's entry just added to the hype online. Ditto with YRKKH. YRKKH started with Hina who was a newbie back then but the show was a huge success. When she left, they cast two actors who were also new and had no fan base online but even their pairing clicked in a big way. Now Harshad being on the show might give it hype online but Rajan Shahi can make it work even with a newbie actor. Only difference is it won't have the initial hype/excitement online which Harshad will bring now. A popular actor only creates initial hype/curiosity. Whether the show sustains depends on the story, pairing and chemistry/drama

Arey kahan se kahan poch gaye aap. See even I know that online hype has nothing to do the trps, yrhpk fans trending with lakhs of tweets to not end the show but they ended it anyway.

I'm talking about online buzz jo milta hai ek actor after getting casted opposite a poplar actor. Krpkab is prime example ki online hype hone se TV trps nhi milte hai.

Ekta casted two popular actors for reboot of kzk but did it work? It didn't get the desired trps though it had online hype. But as soon as hina entered trps went up because she has online as well as offline popularity. Also ekta wanted sharica to be anurag prerna but shaheer rejected the offer.

Yhc storline was very good initially, it had good buzz online and offline also it had good trp considering it is airing at 10.30 slot but post anupama it started to get blockbuster trps because those who watch anupama are watching yhc as well. So it gets support from anupama audience. Ya regarding actors they both are very good and in spite of their show being the number one balaji show right one the actors aren't getting the recognition from ph so I feel bad otherwise even they have a good fan base.

As far as I know, he has done two Disney shows, Navya, MB, Kuch Rang, Salim Anarkali, YRHPK and PR2. No idea about anything else he has done 😆

I am new here, but I have regularly followed the discussion and enjoyed the unbiases opinions being voiced. If Erica has supposedly quitting the show, are there any chances that the show ends. Because the way the storyline is stemming ahead i don't understand how they would clean all the mess. Could we protest to end it? The show that once used to be soothing after a monotonous day is stressful ever since epi 1 of the episode. I don't know what makes me watch this, perhaps this is only respite i have got now, but i solemnly want to stop watching this crap.

Erica being spotted again in the sets is a sign that still she's shooting. Hope that's a climax. Shaheer looks so tired and uninspired right from the first episode. He doesn't seem to put efforts and his character is dumbest of all. what a masterpiece first season had been! I am not a Shaheer fan, but I have watched both of his show Mahabharat and Krpkab a many times, in fact these were my only experience with ITV. In S1, I totally loved him as an actor, he nailed every nuances and Erica was phenomenal too. In Mahabharata, Arjuna is a very versatile character, he had a lot of dimensions to his characters, I felt shaheer did only romance and emotional scenes good there, but he didn't have the warrior staunch and he was OTT during Dyutsabha sequence. on top of it SPMB had very bad characterisation than canon, that never showed many shades of Arjuna. but he seemed to put efforts for it. In this he is so plain and lack inspiration. I miss the S1 everything was excellent there, be it script, dialogue, writing, execution or acting!
