I dnt think it's his ego..their relationship is a bit awkward to be complimenting openly..and ravi s response is also a result of this..I like it..it would have been weird if he complimented her directly and she was all like I wore it becz its ur fav color..that cannot happen unless their mu clears and they r happily back together..

And their relationship has always been telling off each other or worst remarks possible towards each other. Maybe thats why it's so awkward for them to openly say nice things to each other. They have a long way to go
