If i am not mistaken simran said to tejo that the guy cheated her and married someone else and is settled in canada. She took candy and ran away to india coz he gave them a tough time.

My instincts tells me jas came to take revenge from all three. Jasfa and tejo for framing him earlier. Nothing to do with candy

Candy's dad entry will perhaps be later on to stretch the story. Maybe he wants to take custody of candy.
