It is not the decision that I find fault with. I was just stating that it is, perhaps, getting irritating for some of us to see her as a heroine rather than a singer. Also, it is increasingly like she is losing her individual identity and cannot be seen alone on camera. Even the Navaratri Special is a repetition of the charade. None of the 2 get individual screen space!
So, I am ok with the fact that she is working with the project. I just find it difficult to digest her on screen romantic persona. I also have a sinking feeling that it is not just me but other hard core fans too who are thus affected. But then I am reading behaviour not opinions. 😃

As a hard-core fan of Arunita, I don't really have a problem with Octopus or HR kind of videos or promotions. My only problem, as you said, is the bold part of your comment- not only camera - it seems that some people don't even want them to sing solos or with other singers. Though, the thing is Arunita is only 18, and she is in the limelight, and everyone has different expectations from her at this very young age. She has taken decisions- and they may work in her favor or not, only time will tell. I will wish her well always, in whatever she does, and hopefully we get to hear her wonderful singing for a long time.
