This was the case during my parents times. But now by law you are required to register so there are not legal issues in the future. I got mine registered before my actual wedding😆

I hope the at least 30% of the ghatsthapna and navratri proceeds smoothly without any kaand.. remaining 70% will anyway be a kaand 😆

Isn't it job of the priest as well to register the marriages they conduct. Especially if its not a court marriage?
