Agree with this fans. If he did not have any bad claims/words for Manushi, maybe he should have thought better than to say something like that to his Hathodi Dulhan.

But then he also was not in the right frame of mind. Maybe if we see Meetu ever get angry at the hypocrisy of her maaykewalas and sets them right, she might also get enraged and say things she does not really mean. Human tendency, really. Both leads are allowed to exhibit human traits per situation.

Today's episode is hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time. Ahlawat kept crying throughout Varmaala and Kanyadaan while Meet was glancing at him with concern. She said her mother will do the kanyadaan while the Priest said only a man can do it and that's the reet. Papa Ahlawat said; "Reet hi toh badalni hai".

Seeee >> Now this is what I'm talking about. Does anyone in any other show take a stand like that for the DIL's fam? For his DIL? Does any FL think about her ML and his state instead of jumping into the marriage under ghunghat? Do ML and FL question the whole forced marriage and put down their terms and conditions too? Meet Hooda has an internal dialogue today which goes like; "me yeh kaise aadmi te byah karne jaa rahi hu jise duniya bhar ki galat phehmi ho rakhi hai mere khilaaf, par yo bhi ki kare, iska dard bhi samajhti hu me."

That's why she didn't utter one word all the while he kept shouting about the whole thief thingy until he went overboard. She is genuinely concerned for HIM while her family including her mother don't even cared to defend her when Ahlawat was insulting her.

And the whole Kanyaadan part was also very ground breaking, there were no huge monologues or dramatic bgm, Meet says her point subtly, Pandit Ji says his and Rajvardhan speaks about reet. That's it. Anubha does the Kanyaadan at the end.
