How did you find India forums? - Page 35

I first started using IF in 2006. My previous ID got banned due to some unfortunate fights with a few of our touchy esteemed IF members. LOL.

I found IF while researching on Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and its evergreen storyline. I remember the scene very well:

Parvati walks down the staircase in a white sari and announces to everyone in the house - "Main Suyash Mehra se shaadi karne wali hoon."

I had never paid attention to the soap prior to this scene. For some reason, this scene spiked an interest in me and I started to find videos online as to why Parvati decided to sever ties with the Aggarwal khandaan. YouTube was still fairly raw and unpopular at the time. The no. of videos and channels were pretty limited. This led me to search for other alternatives and I stumbled upon IF.

I am actually happy I joined IF because, for me, the soap became interesting overnight! Parvati became Janki and the fun began. LOVED my time here at IF. It's been 15 years, and I'm still enjoying my time here. 😃

Yes that one! I dont remember Hiten in it though. I think he was a replacement?

I was wondering whether I should post or not, as I joined IF really long time back - in 2007 or 2008. But I saw DaddyMarvel's post above so thought why not? ;)

My previous ID does not work after the site upgrade, and I don't really get much time to follow TV anymore, but I visit IF at least once daily 😉

So, back then YouTube was kind of new, but people were uploading videos from Indian tele series and I happened to watch some VM of Kumkum & Sumit. Hussain had won Nach Baliye around then and my mom always used to refer to him as the "hero from Kumkum". 😃

I had watched neither of those. But then I started watching more of their videos and then I got more interested to find about the story from the beginning. Rajshri website had many episodes from beginning. I used to watch 3-4 episodes every day. But after some point they stopped uploading and I really wanted to know what happened next. So I started searching around and found IF. Then just started to spend more time here. 😊

Do you mean India-Forums.com? We can retrieve your account if you can help us with the username?

Yep. The only difference is the hyphen. Would you believe I type the name of the website with a hyphen even today. It redirects me to the current one. Old habits die hard. LOL.
