See the point of the story there was because DD character there was actually grey and much more interesting and mature. Also they had to change the story due to cast changes and everything else. Another point was the the sister's relationship was stronger and had a lot more guilt, as there the DD had become mahaan and almost enlightened in front of everyone, so this story was still plausible.

Here Mailini is so far gone that she is charcoal black with no sense of depth. And no one, and I mean no one is under the impression that she is mahaan anymore and Imlie is well aware of what the situation is like, so she is not sacrificing anything or going anywhere. So I am not worried about that storyline coming now atleast, no matter how sadistic the makers want to get.

In original M will get preg from 2nd hus ( KC) when she met 3rd hus. He accepts her with kid I think. 3rd dies or leaves. Then she settles in PD & she is diagnosed with some terminal disease pass the kid to Adi to raise. Adis love for kid & Sisters condition with gehri dosti😆 makes Imlie to leave.

Adi disregarding Imlie telling him that Malini openly challenged her is still very disturbing for me. The proof deletion also tied to Imlie’s college suspension which he said was very important to him. So he def prioritized Malini over Imlie in every way but lip service. He did not even ask Malini to leave T house. Left it to Imlie knowing well she won’t ask her to go. Still can’t get over this ☹️

I think tomorrow we will get the press at Tripathis again a parallel with Adi’s kidnapping and M will get all jealous. Hopefully Imlie will get her admission back in front of Malini’s eyes! I really want the comeuppance to start now!

Completely agree on the way things transpired in the maha episode with respect to the case. I absolutely wanted to throw something at AKT- the pair that mostly get through all their problems with communication- one of them did not even bother to talk to the other about the pregnancy happenings and how to deal with it! That was just sorcery so as to up the drama on ITV. Again I don't think he prioritized Malini- in the line up of the instances within those 24 hrs or whatever that timeline was- he gave precedence to an unborn baby, which was confirmed by a doctor's report (I do not think the baby is real, but that is another discussion). Add to it the AC ka bakwas that comes in later. No where did he stop to sympathize with Malini or even discuss how unfortunate all this is. The man was numb, he had the realization he had betrayed Imlie's trust. But again, he did not run away from that either, he chose to talk to Imlie, albeit as damage control... He did what he always does- made a mistake, yet again, because he had to choose. The decision will ofcourse turn out to be wrong in the near future, but his intent was not. Hell, that man even straightened that Khabri's collar yesterday after grabbing it in his anger. 😆

He chose to empathize with Imlie. There also he did not even put up a fight for his decision, he just sat there penitent.

As for asking Malini to leave - I think that day will come, once AKT gets over his guilt of marrying Malini. He will get there, all this is to make him guilt free ultimately. Every bit of this is building up to that. Adi and Imlie's relationship will only grow when Adi is guilt free. But I get you, trust me, I echo your thoughts, but then I also realize that this is a daily soap catering to an audience that likes these twisted situations so as to have more drama in the future.

Oh yes Imlie is going to get all the accolades she truly deserves and we will see her getting her scholarship and honor back in the college...Malini will give her constipated expression...but looking forward to the scene! The retribution has to come, let's wait and see how they are going to place it in coming weeks....

And did you notice her asking ADI tum theek ho na? what the heck man, kidnap hui imlie and you're asking if the khamba who did nothing other than phone calls and requests/dhamkis if he's fine she must've assumed ki mera beta jaan pe khelkar bachaya imlie ko

And I felt Imlie going to meethi first would've been more natural but theek hai, best bahu hai toh. and also they showed her these two only in the video. Amma was standing behind like kono baat nahi bitiya pehle apan saas se mil le hum se baad mein baat karo lol

And I started hating Dev putting his hand on Imlie's head given the fact that he knows everything about MC and still not saying a word. Will you just stop it dhokebaaz?

And finally, I liked this shot. What is it indicating I'm not sure, but everyone surrounding Imlie for the first time and Adi being the one throwing unwanted crap out of the house looked good.

Apu running to Adi and asking if he was alright was expected.. he is her son after all... and thinking that he fought with the so called bedis.. like the kidnappers to rescue Imlie was ok.. She was too scared and was all paseena paseena when the family were thrashing the goons that was a riot.😆 She made up for it at the end by looking at Imlie with all the love visible in her eyes... sigh.. that was lovely. But Imlie being Imlie will forgive Apu in a heartbeat.. we all want to see a sakht Imlie but knowing the makers, it will be jhatpat.. forgive, hug and cry.

As for Dev, he knows that M is obsessed with Adi and that Anu is encouraging her in her foolish attempts....but he does not know or is unaware of the full depravity of their actions. I am sure that he will disown them or would like to see him leave them, especially Anu as he has been in a toxic marriage. Some redemption on the cards for Dev also probably in the making.

As for Adi in the last pic, seems like he is going to be the guardian of his family, the protector, the keeper and comprises of nani, meethi, dev, sundar and his family. AC-MC are excluded from the above.Imlie is the at the center of the family. I do not want to hope too much but would like to see Adi wake up and address all the wrong doings by the maa-beti duo of the C's that has harmed his family and Imlie the most. His posture too seems to be letting the others know that you have to cross me to get at my family, they are in my protection.

Hey…. Good one on the last para… man i really admire u guys.. that is so poignant… also like I had said that bk also told the kidnappers that you can’t hurt my family and it included NN, meethi and sundar … slowly the fortress is being built around imlie and I don’t know if i can dare to hope that this is not just adi the protector but bk as the head of family is going to finally play the role of the protector of all? Does that sound stupid or too optimistic? Can I be misreading their character arc?
