Offtopic Question : BB13

Hey guys, I was watching a few episodes of BB13. I was watching episode 98, where Paras was given a secret task to convince everyone in the house that there were ghosts / evil spirits.

When the HMs were discussing about that - Rashmi said 'Chalo Baal Bandho apni' (Tie your hair, don't leave it loose or open). She said 'it's not safe to keep it open' (in those circumstance of suspicion of bhoot/pret)

Anyone knows anything about this tying your hair thing? How is it not safe? what's the logic behind it?
