So despite today's episode, I am still holding on to my wait and watch strategy. The main reason being coz I feel that everytime we write Adi off and make a big fuss on his actions, his character has been given a strong enough core to get all of us back to rooting for him. It has happened before and it will happen again.
Right now his actions can go 2 ways - one is that he truly fell for Malini's words and accepted that she was led "astray" by her mother and now is going to deal with this entire pregnancy knowing exactly what she did with him and that what Imlie had been saying all this while was true. He knows Malini was completely lucid, even if she claims that her mother influenced her decision and that fact cannot be negated. The second option is him doing all this with the purpose of punishing Malini and making her tell him and the family that why she did what she did and unmasking her in front of the family, who may still take the video to mean that whatever happened between them was okay, because Malini was his wife - I know that was never the case, but maybe he may have seen that nothing happened and received the call the Malini is pregnant, hence decided to play this game, as he knows that she is capable of manipulating the situation to suit her purpose before as well.
Either way Malini is going to suffer and not get what she wants - that is Adi all for herself and considering Malini as his wife. He is not going to do that, and the promo warned us about Adi letting Malini go when we were shown 2 weeks back of him seeing the proof and not allowing it to come out. So that was not a huge surprise for me atleast and I maintain, Adi will play this in such a way where Malini despite not being sentenced, will lose everything and I stand by that. Anyone who was expecting Malini to go to jail was deluding themselves - the chances of that happening was close to nil from day one. The fact that her kartoot came out to Adi, for me atleast is the biggest win which also I never expected. The fact that Adi ke aankhon se patti utari and that he atleast saw and understood what happened and accepted that Imlie was right all along goes a very long way in convincing me that this is the start of Malini's end - I still maintain that this will play out much better than any of us expected and even now I would like to give them a chance for me to defend Adi more fiercely again😆

The last few weeks have been testing our patience and as some of us have been saying, the track is making progress, albeit at a snail's pace. We are all fed up of seeing evil win and also M's screen presence. The makers have heard the FD and her screen time has reduced considerably in the last few days. Also, we have been getting some solid episodes this week.. maybe an unpopular opinion.
Another thing, is that I am staying away from the forum and being silent as the constant negativity/ranting/bashing is just too tiring to read/sift through. People are just fixated on the precap and lose the essence of the epi that was just aired. There is no discussion on the good scenes or the essence is lost in the ranting. For my own sanity I am keeping away and watching the show.
I am not giving up on Adi and feel optimistic about the next week. The stretch is for obvious reasons such as IPL and other external factors, but tagging the makers and passing vile comments is not done.
This is a daily and drama is required. The makers have succeeded in keeping me glued with the precaps and guessing as to what is coming. That and SuMeer are keeping me here. They are magic on the screen.
Don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings but this is what I feel.
