Is it a village bred vs city bred difference? In fact, wouldn’t you be angrier in the sense of betrayal from a close friend. If not that very second, maybe an hour or two later? How can he even stand in the same room with her?

That is a false parallel to draw firstly. This is not like the forced marriage situation and his subsequent reactions. Firstly, the forced marriage was not an act of betrayal....he was fully conscious of his consent being violated there as it was happening to him, so his shock/frustration was around that...while in the case of this act of Malini, he wasn't fully conscious of his consent being violated as it happened.......it's a different kind of trauma.

Secondly the baggage here is different....he only claims that Malini is some great friend of his, but the reality is that he acts like her slave.....so this is more the shock of Devi Ji not living up to the hyped image he had of her in his mind and instead proving to be so ghatiya. This is disillusionment more than a sense of betrayal.

Let's see if he is able to stand in the same room as her in the coming days....abhi se kaise decide kar liya that he will be all normal with her?🤔

The synopsis of the serial should be "journey of torture of Adi, Imlie & Audience".

I mean this is the basic plot line of the show that has been rinsed/ repeated like 50 times till now.

I cannot believe how many times makers play this bait & switch game- each time dangling an Imlie or Adi-Imlie centric track but giving us the tasteless carrot of rapist Didi & her shenanigans.

If there is a separation I want Imlie to take the decision on her own whatever may be the reason- baby, family pressure, Adi. And please give a proper separation. I do not want 2 mins separation due to kidnap & then back to T house with rapist Didi committing more crimes to her list. She is evil. We get it.

Basic question being ki even if they show MC staying as rapist bahu and torturing T house…what then were the daily emotional abuses she used to mete out when she was so-called bahu anyway?....phir bhi you wanted to show it cuz these bailbuddhis didn't get it then phir Janmashtami week ke separation mein dikha dete 2-3 din ke liye where it wasn't that everyone single person in the story was aware that she’s a rapist🤬.....but nahi bring it down to such a ghatiya level and show it in the most f-ed up manner ever that garnering ANY other reaction from a character except disgust and contempt for MC would raise serious questions on their sanity and humanity....make it so ugly so ugly that you cannot avert your eyes anymore from the ugliness that anyway resided in her from day one🤬…..phir mujhe woh red face and horns wala satan dikhaao so I can go duhhhh yes this is evil......

Yeh hai inki so called layered storytelling.......

I don’t know about Deviji not living up to his expectations but i know AKT will not be living up to Imlie’s expectations.

Imagine the pain and shock of her realizing if he truly turns out to be the one who deleted the videos.

I don’t think the parallel here is necessarily false, although it’s not apples to apples. But it does prove a point that he is a puppet in Malini’s hands and wants to be. No one can help him out.

For me all of this story is to point to a basic question and that is the parallel they have created.

Adi asked Imlie to turn the actual perpetrator (SK) in and not pay attention to who incited (Malini) him multiple times claiming journalistic integrity

Now he is shown clearly by Imlie that Malini perpetrated the crime and likely as per precap at Anu's inciting.

Will he be a hypocrite and go against his own beliefs and preaching to Imlie (also in camera) OR will he stay true to himself and his ideals even in the face of his relationships (Malini and Baby)

Since the SK shooting - and their fallout - this is what they seem to be leading to. That's why I'm inclined to try and find diff theories to find him not guilty of deleting the proof. If guilty then he is the latter - a hypocrite and whatever the emotions and guilt of the moment, his self proclaimed core values was just lip service? and they destroyed something they attached to his characterization from the start - truth!

The problem with AKT is they have made him not retrospect at all and for a patrakar its so hard to give credence to a man who never seems to tie what is happening to all that has happened before and join the dots.

Will Imlie will call him out on this hypocrisy tomorrow?- and will they separate? Will they even highlight the hypocrisy or am i giving them too much credit? Are they expecting Adi to have the jhatka of the kidnap to get his brain into working gear?

Why do I need to imagine? LOL she clearly already knows in the precap that he deleted the video, and her reaction was still more around the fact that he is not understanding M's true nature, not over him deleting the video. She understands that he is still finding it difficult to process the truth....him deleting the video is not going to be the end of her world.

Will have to still disagree with the parallel you are trying to draw. He doesn't want to be a puppet in Malini's hands....he is struggling with 7 years of perception....he has the mentality of a victim of long term abuse who does not know how to overcome the cycle of abuse from their abuser.

Beautifully said and yes, this track is a slip and slide of AKT’s core values. It will interesting as to how they will call him out at the end.

I know, I had to get it off my chest. Since everyone seems to be thinking this is not even the rock bottom of Malini’s heinous acts, I am just trying to dig and see what else do they want to show that is worser than killing the light?
