No I meant the normal meet in plain language but implied it was the in laws meeting. But the term 'meet' you used in your argument didnt make sense even in the normal meeting sense.

Eg; If your parents come to visit your office, they may also meet your colleagues by default. Just because main purpose was to see you, doesn't mean they didnt meet your colleagues na. Did that make sense?

Telugu families are usually quite conservative . That's why you have so many nepo heros but not one heroine from the nepo families .

His family is mixed and maybe liberal ,but people don't really like their daughter's / dil's to be actors .

I do like them together ,but I am not sure if it is sailing .

So, my parents are hunting for a guy as well. We found a guy who unknowingly happened to be my classmate at university. Let’s call him Jack. We came to know, after talking, Jack stays literally 5 minutes away from my Dada Dadi’s house back in India. Jack’s father, used to work with my Daadaji (paternal grandfather). Also, Jack’s tauji (elder paternal uncle), Jack’s dad, and my dad studied in the same school and used to take the same school bus. Jack’s tauji and my father were in the same class upto middle school.

Also, there's nothing in a person's looks to say he will get into an arranged marriage. Kahan kahan se yeh theories aate hai... Even the most conservative families can have love marriages and the most liberal ones have arranged. Yeh baatein kismat ki hoti hai...

And as for a telugu family accepting a working dil (in the industry), I'd like to say Ishq hi rahein aasan kahan hai.. agar tazbus want to be together, they'll be together despite circumstances.
