Krish gets arrested and beaten by police as per mohits bts in shinys story so the family can't do much except get a lawyer and get him out. I'm sure janu did something for this as someone said in og story Krish gets arrested there too.

I think Krish ke jaand ke wajah se shiva divorce hearing par pahunch nahi payega.so it will get stretched again.
