Abhana (Abhay + Meghana 🤣) OS - Piya ke Piche, Abhay ke Niche

Her dress was in the lightest sense ruined, after that Piya so blindly bumped into her. What was wrong with people these days? Did they not have eyes? They don't even apologize properly.

"Such an airhead...."

And Panchi, why force her to be friendly with that girl. Meghana shook her head in frustration, dabbing at the stain on her dress without much progress.

“So annoying….”

She threw the tissues into the trash and peeled off her dress in defeat. Ditching that stupid party was the best idea she had in a while. Her whole mood was spoiled, sitting at home alone now. Besides, there were better places to be. Mainly with her boyfriend.

He just moved to the city with his parents, but he didn’t yet invite her to his new home. Perhaps those parents of his were there, or they hadn’t finished unpacking yet. Unfolding the note in her hand, an address to a famous hiking trail was written on it, in a fancy cursive script.

"Even his writing is as good looking as he is..."

She put on something loose and comfortable, not too flashy, like he said. Something about bright colors being too visible at night and attracting attention. A shy fellow, very quiet and very much a brooding figure. But very much a romantic and sweet on the inside.

“He wants privacy. I wonder for what?” She cheekily said, blushing the entire time she took to get ready. She was expecting some sort of relationship progression tonight. Feigning innocence went against the inner workings of her own mind. A not so innocent mind. Into a small bag, she stuffed a change of clothes, a swimsuit, and a towel, all hastily folded into each other.

Maybe we’re going late night swimming beforehand? It’s going to be cold, but worth it.

She wanted him to warm her up later, of course. In preparation for such a possibility, she straightened out the sheets of her bed and pillows. Luckily, she lived alone in this small apartment. But it was big enough for at least two people.

He told her to come alone, take a taxi or auto but don’t attract unnecessary attention. It was like he was hiding from something, or someone. She stepped off into the empty roads, and began the trek down the dirt trail towards the small waterfall, following the old wooden signs. This boyfriend of hers sure loved hanging out in the forest all the time.

Screw that party. I much rather be with him, she thought.

She saw a familiar silhouette after a few minutes of walking, and her eyes beamed in excitement. She waved and called out to him.

“Abhay!”

He was standing at a slight distance, hands in pockets, staring at the crashing waterfall. Deep in thought and in sheer beauty. Topless and skin bare. He turned around, and slicked his hair back.

“You’re here.”

In the dark, only his eyes were the slightest visible. Meghana ran closer, bag swinging side to side in her hands. When she saw him in full under the moonlight, he pulled her close to him. A very direct fellow. His torso and pants were wet, suggesting that he already ventured out into the water before she arrived. She shivered when their bodies touched, the wetness from his skin soaking into her clothes.

Water droplets fell from his lashes to her cheeks, similar to the manner from which he likely descended from the heavens. Such a gorgeous man. He dipped his head, and gave her a kiss. Breaking through her lips with his tongue, she really forgot how to breathe. But she learned how he tasted. Her eyes closed in euphoria.

“I was about to leave. Good thing you’re here now.” He crooned, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. Meghana struggled to catch her breath, until his palm gently rubbed her upper back. A healing touch. “What took you so long?”

“It’s all because of that stupid party I went to. You know, some girl ruined my dress. I had to go home and change.”

Abhay broke into a low chuckle, tracing patterns over her cheeks. Her lips trembled, and knees felt weak.

What kind of magic do his fingers have?

“No matter. I can help you get cleaned up….” His deep voice trailed, and eyes hinted at the waterfall. Meghana blushed and looked inside her bag. “Shall we?”

“So that’s why you told me to bring all this.”

Abhay saw the towel as well, and smirked.

“Good, you brought a towel. I unfortunately forgot mine.” He winked, and stressed the ‘unfortunately’.

One towel between them, and a shower in the waterfall. She turned several shades of red and set the bag beside a tree. Abhay grabbed her by the waist again and pulled them close. Such a clingy fellow.

“Shall I help you get undressed? Time is wearing thin.”

“That’s not the only thing wearing thin.” She mumbled impatiently, followed by a nod. Her imagination filled with wild thoughts of her and Abhay together, under the crashing water, exploring one another as the water cooled their heat.

He smirked, took the hems of her top in his fingers, and began to pull it up. Followed by small kisses on the bare skin. Up to her chest he exposed, tossing the top to the side, until a rustle in the bushes startled them. Faster than she could blink, he threw the towel over her shoulders.

“Who was that? Is someone there?” She exclaimed, out of breath. Every time they decided to be alone, someone had to interrupt. Anger shoved all the pleasure out the window. Her feet stamped into the soil. She thought she saw that Piya again.

Abhay furrowed his brows and looked rather angry as well. She thought she saw his nose twitch, as if he were smelling the air. His hands were now fists.

“I’ll go and check.” He said. “Stay here.”

It was definitely her scent, the person who he least wanted to see. Abhay didn’t want to ever run into that lookalike again. Especially now, when he was finally going to spend time with another girl he liked. She looked to be lost, and also very nosy.

Why are you running?

She thought she was in the clear. Maybe eavesdropping wasn’t such a good idea. But the tattoo on the man’s shoulder looked so familiar, she had to look. Catching her breath against a tree, she turned around to rest. She wasn’t used to running this hard. Her throat was dry from the crying and it hurt to breathe. But rest would have to wait. He caught up to her, his hands pinned her down into the trunk, and then those bright icy grey eyes began to pierce her soul. Her bag slipped from her hands out of surprise, he was that close.

“Leave from here.” He said, with a disgruntled tone. She couldn’t say a word back. “And don’t come back.”

Before she could say anything, the wind blew over her hair like a curtain, and along with it, carried those eyes far away into the pitch black.

Meghana was left waiting for him to come back. First the party, then she was back to ruin their alone time. She angrily skipped about five or so rocks across the water in complete silence, and dissatisfaction. When Abhay returned, he put on his shirt and jacket, also wearing a scowl on his face. He didn’t even say a word to her.

“Where are you going?” She asked, grabbing his sleeve. He turned around, just barely showing his face.

“Home. Don’t worry, I’ll drop you home as well.”

“But our…”

“I’m not in the mood. Let’s go.”

Meghana’s jaw dropped, and all sorts of curses towards Piya surrounded the air that she breathed out. Like a dragon breathing fire. She never thought she could hate anyone more than she could hate that Piya. She wouldn't spare her.

Abhay was already far away, walking at fast strides that she could barely catch up with. She scooped up her things and ran after him. Little did she know, running after him was all she could do from now on.

The End 🤣 Such a tragic story, aankh mein aansoo aa gaye 😭🤣
