Sarcy darcy, Rishu tells me you have a story bug about our famous/infamous couple....please pretty please.... start on it and make a post one of these days.. dying to read some good fanfiction on that couple since AGES!!! And you did promise an ff....just write whatever is on your mind at the moment...We know it will be EPIC!!!

So I was telling Rishu that yesterday I was going through the notes I had put together for that fic and felt tempted to resume writing it. I'm doing a bit of research and will try to delve more into those ideas. Who knows, I may get lucky!

Ok, so maybe in the meantime someone gave some tips already. I havent read much myself to advise a real good one. but I know some people who write and read a lot here on the serial. I will start my research 😆

I was wondering if you are interested to check out the century anniversary celebration threads.

there are beautiful write ups, creations and summaries. stories of what attracted them to the show etc.

will try and summarize for you.. and I have to start with my boy:

Raghav Rao is the (so called) Don of Hydrabad. He is very rich and powerful. oh... and very important detail.. he is hot..! My man is grey - all shades of grey - but deep down, he is a very good guy..

We know all about broken characters, and he is, strangely, beautifully broken.

In his younger years stuff happened which made it so, that he had to leave his home and live without his family. He lost his father and younger brother as a result of some things and people he was involved with. He has only his mother and younger sister who wish to have no contact with him at all. Of course, he makes sure that he knows all about them and takes care of them. He is all about family and friends.

Then there is Pallavi.. She is the most beautiful creature you have ever seen.. Trust me.. She has that fresh out of bed look... she needs no make up, no jewelry, no shiny and heavy sarees. Pallavi is the most selfless character. Nothing than family, friends, honesty and being human matters the most to her. oh wait.. I forgot self-respect. She is someone who accepts a lot but when it all gets too much, especially against her loved ones, she will speak up. Pallavi is a young widow who lives with her in-laws who treat her like a daughter.

somehow, somewhere Raghav and Pallavi meet - their paths cross (time and time again)

there are so many moments between these two: they can drink each others blood, they connect and see a glimpse of their own reflection in the other.. and then there are moments they help or learn from each other..

I would say, when you can and are in the good vibe, just watch.. and keep on watching, because both characters do get better and better.. there are some scenes which are Iconic and pulled us in deeper and deeper, and I just wish you would get sucked in this adventure of RaghVi as well.

and oh.... a special mention goes to the Mansion! and the special bond between Raghav and his loyal friend Farhad (FaRag)

Rishu, thank you for that wonderful intro... I love the idea of the story being set in Hyderabad with the Nawabi history...the mansion is a tribute to that I think..

I remember how obsessed I had become after watching Bobby Jasoos...there is a don there as well... second lead who turns out to be key to solving a case that Bobby lands.

Another old indian romance show set in Hyderabad was Farmaan....ouff...that I totally loved! Obviously watched it when I had grown up but it has Kanwaljeet when he was a dashing buck and it has a kiss scene.. unimaginable in today's day and age. It was about the clash between older feudal aristocratic patriarchal values represented by the Male lead and the new woman with her desires as shown in the female lead who is a secretary on the lord's estate.

Hehe...anyway sorry for going off on a tangent. Will definitely check out the ff section next time I am in the mood for some.
