I honestly feel bengali tv industry is doing much better right now what it was doing during 2016-2018 with shows like Phagun bou, Mayurpankhi, Bajlo and Zee Bangla's shitshows like Trinayani EWWW. Now the scenario is much much better and best part is new shows keep coming and going.

Funny part is channel grow hota hai but jin slots ko curse kiya hai they never work. Khkt fans cursed 9 pm slot and till now SNS2 is not able to maintain 2.5 on weekly basis (they were like lo aur lo 2.5 trp) with so much trash drama and 7 pm is a core curse slot.

In west bengal there's a thing that they are following called quick and short written concepts. That will end once their story end. In short you could call it a finite planning. I heard it officially from our popular media portal when somebody asked why so quickly new shows are coming and going. One producer answered currently bengali tv industry is following finite concepts where once the story ends they are no more dragged and finished quickly. The only cons is they are not doing this in preshot basis due to trps which could make the content much better experience.

ZMGA is getting crushed because of too high competition. When Udaariyaan was 1.9 ZMGA opened with 1.3 and today when its at 2.6 ZMGA is at 1.0. If audience ko interest nahi hai toh trps 0.6 hoti. But despite high competition the show is standing. Agar ek baar channel 11 pm consider karle toh sab kuch accha hojaaye but they are not doing it yet. I just cant see the cast crying next week who are right now enjoying their set time.
