I have zero relationship experience, yes. But I am a people watcher, and a pretty decent one at that. A close friend of mine recently went through a very similar situation recently. Her boyfriend pushed her away because he felt he didn't deserve her (played the just let go of me woman card too), things got pretty bitter, she gave up. He had always been the one more emotionally invested in their relationship, and he knew it all along as well. But, when he apologised for the way things turned out, when she got a hint that he'd done it all on purpose, she wanted to give themselves a second chance at things. They talked about it and things are going well so far, much better than the first time around in fact.

I understand where you're coming from with the divorce is probably for the best angle. And I really wouldn't presume to understand relationships as fragile as marriage better than you. But, this is ITV, with a show centred on family values, and I felt that this could be the next best course for the story.

I don't want Shiva's breakdown or NDE to be the reason for them falling in love either. I want a hint from his side, that Raavi sees (not the audience), so that she knows that there is something to fight for. So she tries to understand him better, thereby falling in love with him.

PS I meant no offence to anyone with either this, or the original post.

@bold- I agree! Their relationship is redeemable. It's just the lack of monologues from Raavi's side is a bit frustrating, but I blame the makers. They focused on Shiva's side and forgot about Raavi's.

At this point, I would be okay with either of them taking a step towards each other. They can talk it out, they can fight it out and blurt out things in the heat of the moment, whatever floats their boat. I think either of them showing even a hint of want for their relationship would make the other step up as well, because right now both think the other doesn't want to be in the relationship. We all know Raavi would come back at the smallest token of love. I would also not mind if Shiva retreated into his shell and Raavi tried to get a reaction out of him because she's not used to this side of him. I want her to think about a life without Shiva if this route is taken, is it possible for her to not have him in her life? (I'm a bit biased towards this route but either works) Okay, I'm blabbering 😆 I just want some progression. Of course, they have a long way to go, but that's where the beauty lies. I just hope the makers don't drag the slow burn into the fiery pits of hell lol.

But jokes aside, at least Raavi is still able to assert her own autonomy where it matters. Despite all the emotional manipulation from Dhara, and even Suman to some extent, Raavi hasn't budged from her stance regarding her marriage. Aaj bhi she told Dhara ki nahi chahiye yeh rishta. Yea, she was soft spoken and honestly tried to explain her issues. But Dhara again wasn't receptive.

Shivi relationship will happen because they both want it. I've accepted that its going to be a while the it. So in the meantime, I'm enjoying them both shutting down Dhara.

Me too got irritated and tired and I think it's because of shinny's too demanding nature and even I read she force for romantic scenes as well

yes, we can relate to shiva because we know his feelings .. why he let her go which is a sign of selflessness and strong .. but just remove the fact that shiva loves raavi...

I agree raavi was enough ignorant about shiva's feelings and both are at fault. at least raavi tried to put in his head that if he feels inferior to her then why don't he improves himself. she even asked what he desires in a wife she will try her best to become that.. healthy changes are a form of love but shiva took it as she will never like him for his true self. if raavi does not think deeply then shiva is obviously an overthinker. he chose to believe Sneha's words and diary above raavi

I believe if shiva Thinks she deserves better then slight changes won't harm..

not manhandling her should be top the list when she said very clearly.

shiva too did not like raavi from day1 but she made efforts not for shiva but for the family from pehli rasoi to handling dhara in the need of crisis. I know shiva too did many unsaid things but a little more efforts are required .

I know what gem shiva is deep down of his harsh exterior but the level of intensity he needs from raavi requires that much effort. both have to learn a lot and a part of me wants shiva should clear things out not raavi

I dnt want him to change for ravi..becz if ravi has feelings for shiva,it should be for who he is..not what she wants in an imaginary man to have been like..shiva is reality..and her diary was her imaginations..

Even if she is demanding and want romantic scenes don't writers and ph have sense that they need to make their show better also the actor is not a big name ki uske marzi se itne changes kar rahe hain.

They should look about it
