Unless they bring a popular on-screen actor-actress/couple with a strong fan-base that will bring trp.

And they need to tone down negativity by making normal characters villain and show some realistic or sensible tracks.

I don’t think the trp will decrease if they select a good pair. When akshara left lots of people were unhappy but audience accepted.

To be really honest, now i just done with kairat, kaira whatever. Actors basically have nothing to give it to the show acting wise either.
