He was and has wanted to be that husband to pallavi who takes care of everything : incl providing financial stability

And this move , pallavi knows is gonna questions his purpose of earning the money

She knows he will think about it again - if his risk and struggle is worth it if after all this his wife isn't gonna take the money and will face everyday struggles despite he earning so much ?

Does the money hold value then ?

Would he rather earn less and have her smile and give her a stability , a good and peaceful sleep than

earn more and still not be able to provide that financial stability to her at all ?

See this is what I feel is wrong with the characters. Even when actors justify the wrongs of the characters then there is no scope for change or a character arc. In that sense I love when I see BTS of Sai and Shivangi practicing their scenes - they understand their characters and their thoughts. You can see the growth in them. The simple touches, the simple gestures, you can see these 2 are living as Raghav and Pallavi. Kush and Sayli are just doing something that the creatives are dishing out. They don't add an iota of change to the scene - I feel like that.
