Anyone can explain to me how exactly do these TRPs work for ITV? I don't understand why some of these channels like to stop airing shows just cause they don't get good TRPs. In fact shows that are actually watchable don't get enough TRPs whereas shows that are utter crap end up having higher TRPs.

I remember seeing this one show called Dil Sambhal Ja Zara on Star Plus about 4 or 5 years ago and I really liked it tbh but they just shut it off all of a sudden without finishing the storyline because it wasn't doing so well in terms of the TRPs.

Ik it's a garbage system and don't really get how it works but I really hope that one day they scrap the whole TRP system because so many of the deserving shows get pulled off so early.
