Maybe he knows how bad the situation can get after bon knowing truth and also threats and insults involved that society would throw at her ..... he does not want to drag bon unnecessarily in such a serious matter

Generally, uska dimaag kaam tabhi karta hain jab usko Bon ko bachana ho ya Bon ke saath jisne bura kiya usko fasana ho.

This is my personal opinion but I have always found Bondita's faith on Anirudh superior to that of Anirudh's on her.
