If a show come twice or thrice or daily, does it mean its not a big star show?

Even with respect to Ishq Hai, what does it say about the show? It aired on two weekdays and at 8. Is that considered elite and prime time?

You see, they used to air big budget dramas on Friday and Saturday to get more viewership due to weekend.

They still do that for a lot of shows...especially Hum TV

But now I feel like they have changed their strategy

Now ARY and Geo are at loggerheads and like to compete each other...so they take a gamble and air the shows which they think will get most TRPs against each other even if that lands on a weekday

Some shows with A class actors have even started airing daily at 7 or 9pm just to garner more TRPs

So I think it all depends...they keep trying new strategies to see what works best for their shows

Whereas it becomes a problem for us fans sometimes...when we really want our fav show to be successful, we want it to air at a good time slot where people will watch it instead of seeing it compete with other big shows and suffer. Thats why people start complaining.
