His core should remain the same and if he changes it should be for himself, not for anyone else.

Just like the redemption was more for his own self than others, any further changes should be because he believes in it and not because he wants to please someone else.

I also want him to draw the line with others and their expectations and for a change start to show that he too has expectations from them, mainly to accept him for who he is. I know it's hard for Raghav to ask for something in a relationship but it's feeling too one-sided to me right now.

Unfortunately, he will be made to justify everything, there will be questions raised on his integrity, blah blah blah. As you said, he's never been showed as a saint and he himself said he wasn't interested in being mahaan. He redeemed himself for the wrongs he did to Pallavi but other than that his core is the same. It's not easy being the wife of such a person, I get that. If Pallavi can't accept his ways, I totally understand that, but then she also has to make that call as to how much she wants him to mend his ways in order to meet her expectations without making him lose himself.

Then again, when I think of the role reversal in this show, the ML is the one who has to prove his worth repeatedly and show that he's "good enough" to be her life partner. Kuch bhi.

If Raghav changes his business tactics because Abhishek's death reminds him of his past trauma and he feels strongly that he wants to avoid becoming like the very man (Krishna Rao) who made him who he is, then I get it. But changing himself just so that his wife won't leave him, is not acceptable. He may do that temporarily, but the next time a moral dilemma comes up, he's default to his natural instincts and the same issue will happen again. They both need to revisit what they want out of their relationship and if going their separate ways makes sense. Love isn't enough.

Also, it was Pallavi herself who told him not to bend so much that people break your or use you as a doormat. This should apply to this case too.

Lovely writeup Jean!!

Damn right, anyone should change only bec he or she wants to, not just to keep someone in their lives, a change with belief will be a change for the better.

Hmm... For himself to be out of guilt, the easy way first is to have Abhishek alive.. else it will be a difficult path for him. I want him to weigh the pros and cons and try to create the balance but not completely change and last but not least aa tou said I want him to be vocal about his expectations too from others as every one is expecting from him
