They are planning something big for pallavi past so they are using this time to write. I think IPL is also going to start which is a major peeve point for serials. So they will not start something big which might have potential to grab audience but get lost in ipl glamour. They wil reserve it for later

I've always wondered how Pallavi was okay with Raghav's way of doing business because she is not that naive to believe that it's 100% legal. That's part of the reason I'm glad it's being brought up early in their relationship rather than later because it can be a fundamental point of difference given their personalities and different worldviews. I hope it's not dragged to the point of frustration while they develop Pallavi's backstory or they will lose viewers (what happened during the Mandar track). I agree with the IPL factor, they might not introduce any crucial plot but I don't want a dragfest either, not sure what to expect at this point🤔
