Haan par unka decision GALAT HI THAA !!! The biggest mistake of all time they did was rebranding a youth channel into a mass appealing channel. Uske baad Life Ok finished in 6 years and SB ka toh pata hi hai.

Star One - 7 years - Urban youth channel (70-80 GRPS)

Life ok - 6 years - Urban rural channel (100-120 GRPS)

SB - 4 years - Fully rural channel (40-60 GRPS)

What a growth !!! 👏

Just look at crowded tv market ..... Woh toh uss time internet nhi tha itne saare channels nhi thy toh phir log star one bhi dekh lete thy

But aaj toh star one ka audience poora internet pe shift hua hai

Aur baaki crowd bhi itna hua hai ki aaj inka haal SB se bhi bura hojata

Ye faltu ka debate nahi karna mujhe. I can undoubtedly say if Star One was there today with complete focus on Urban audience then it would have become succesful only like Sab Tv.

Star one ke period me top 3-4 channel 250-350 ki range me play karte thy

Life ok ke time me 200-300

And aaj ke sb ke era me except star plus all top channels plays betn 150-180 (talking abt sab tv & colors) nd baaki toh 100-120

So sirf GRP compare mat karo ..... Uss time ki nd aaj ki avg grp kya hai woh bhi dekho top channl ki
