I agree with you on the aesthetics. I watched a weel of UD and felt that they don't care about these nuances that amplify the viewing experience. I'm never getting over how well this show is made.

Yes Ren in Telugu Meeru/Mee Kosam is saying aap with respect. Nuvvu/Nee Kosam is saying tum. I loved it when I heard Pallu say Mee Kosam and the ghost of smile on Raghav's face. You can say he so wanted his wife to wake him up like this one day.
