I feel karan is actually sincere when he was talking about the others, he want's them to be strong mentally, emotionally, and physically. So if any situation arises that they are well prepared and would think rationally rather then emotionally.

About Monami, I agree he is holding a grudge even through it's not her fault. And we can't put all the blame on karan because we don't what actually happened to his brother or his full story. We only know that because of a rich spoilt person his brother died, but we don't know if it was a accident, or a person being reckless on purpose. And we also don't know how deep his relation with his brother was. He doesn't seem to have parents so his brother might have raised him.

But can't blame her. From what she has seen is that sanjana is very protective of karan, and they have very similar personality, nature, habits and hobbies. And since she is the only girl in their group for now, of course they will be protective her.

If I hadn't watched the promos or full episodes and just watched the scenes with karan, sanjana. I might have mistaken them to be........ you know couple. But we know as audience that karan and faizi see sanjana as their sister.
