🤗 What he did was harassment.

A girl giving the guy a lock of her hair and him keeping it was considered romantic during the Victorian era.

Bereaved family members too kept locks of hair as a way to remember their loved ones. Queen Victoria herself wore lock of her husband’s hair after he passed away.

I think the guy was probably reading too much Jane Austen 😆

Yeah or maybe watched too many Bollywood movies and considered himself SRK. I assume he thought it was romantic to keep a lock of my un-shampooed hair. I was so paranoid of him performing voodoo, that I tried to sneak around and find the box in order to steal back my hair. But unfortunately couldn’t find it 😆

Many things onscreen look romantic but are either weird or creepy in real life. Especially when the feelings are not mutual.

Like Paro lighting the dia for Dev as a kid for 10 years, who does that 🤣

Anything is possible. When I was 4-5 years old, I once stole an egg from the fridge and wrapped it in a blanket. Then I sat on it, hoping the egg will hatch. So I totally believe Paro would light a dia for 10 years. I’d prob do the same TBH 😆

I would catch🐇 when I was 5, brought them home from an ochard behind my house. I pretended to be a mom and the started collecting animals from everywhere - puppies, kittens until I got bitten by one 🤣 (They would run around the house and dirty it.. and then my mom would run after me 😆)

It would be years later, as a teenager that I would stalk my first celeb crush my age online. I would have lighted dia then. But not at 10. That’s too advanced for me😆

Bruh. Your sentence ‘I started collecting animals’ sounds scary when taken out of context. 😆 Oharrr, I started young. I was madly in love with Arjun Rampal by age 10. But thankfully didn’t have access to a computer at that time.

sounds like true indian males to me. They will ulta blame the girl if she tries to reject them.

@TM- Better to cut all ties in the beginning with such guys. Don't be friends with them.

For one of my friends it was so bad.. he just wouldn’t take no. She lives and worked alone in a apartment in the city and he made his friend stalk her. His friend would message, “bhabhi.. aapke kapde bahar sukh rahe hai.. it’s raining.. hata lo.” Letting her know that she is being stalked. It was terrifying as she didn’t know who it was. Finally she called the cops late at night around 3 AM.. and you know Indian police.. they took two hours to find her house 🤣

Next day - the guy showed up and said, “I never thought you would call the police.” And he even had a gun with him threatening to kill himself.. she talked him out of it and severed all ties.. she also scared him saying she will go to the cops if he tries to get in touch and he never contacted her again..

There is nothing like wrong signal. If you haven't asked them to wait, let them waste time. It's HIS choice. Politeness and smile are not any signal.

Having said that, Now a days watching crime petrol, savdhan rahe aur satark rahe. Just tell them directly that you feel awkward with their behavior. If coming from any decent family, they'll definitely respect your choice.
