I'm assuming she's referring to Indian guys. Unfortunately, all desi men are like this. They go around declaring their love for any female friend that they spend time with. If you want to avoid it, I'd suggest not doing any activities with them alone. They've been conditioned to think that if you spend time with them, you secretly really like them and just need time to realize it.

Keep all activities as group events where there will be other people with you.

great advice. It's not just desi guys, it's guys in general I think. Never be friends with guys because they think you like them or they like you so they will express their feelings and you don't have feelings for them so you feel guilty hurting people's feelings. Just don't talk to them and don't be friends with guys is the simple answer. Don't even smile. I don't smile anymore

Girl do not feel guilty. Some men think you're ready to settle down with them because you said thank you after they held the door open for you. You have made your intentions clear from the start and if they think you're playing hard to get or will magically fall in love with them one day, that's their problem.

No point. Even if you don't smile, they may have seen Tyra Banks talking about smiling with your eyes. They'll just look for that.

Do you suffer from nervous laughter around people like our cackling Kamala? If so, they may be taking it the wrong way. Men are dense for the most part when it comes to things like this

It might a case of trying to lure the forbidden fruit.

There is no need to over think and don't blame yourself. You are not trying to build relationship and nor are you sending any signals to them. Avoid commenting on emotional and personal matters of such guys. Don't share your personal matter too. Meet them in groups and clearly state that your aren't looking for a relationship.

All the best.

I understand. It's happened a lot with me as well. It's infuriating when every second guy you're talking to tries to send out "signals", you feel like punching them across the face. 😡😡

Very fortunately, I have two great guy friends who I share a VERY close and completely platonic relationship with. I love them and cannot imagine my life without them in it.

Don't feel guilty about something which is not your fault. Some day, you'll find some real guy friend who is willing to be a great buddy and just be there for you in a platonic manner. Trust me, such friendships do exist. I have experienced them myself. ❤

Some guys should really forget that rubbish dialogue, "Ek ladka aur ek ladki kabhi dost nahin ban sakte".

That's the best advice I can give you without knowing you.

I even kept an imaginary fiance with a ring....

Someone said that engagements aren't govt records💔

Thanks for the suggestion though

Keeping this on the checklist now,❤️

That actually does make me feel better. Couldn't sleep last night😆
