I don't think it will be dragged long. Also it will really show us how really they want it portray Priya further. Becoz the Priya we have come to know in one week she will be able to know that they are setting up her with Kunal and will call out their bullshit. Also Ram gang have to talk to her about this Kunal proposal out loud in order for it to materialise and for the condition to be met.

I'm thinking it was the step mom and sister issue. It can go one of two ways:

1. Vedika's parents said no to the rishta because they didn't want to have their daughter married to a guy who would have to share his love and wealth with step siblings/parents. Especially knowing how much Ram loves his family.

2. Ram's mom interfered as she didn't want Ram's attention and money to be given to Vedika, who Ram loved more then life.

Yup both these scenarios seem possible especially the second one. Maybe his mom only manipulated Vedika's parents to refuse their relationship

I kind of feel like they just kept that scene to show how lonely Ram is🤣 the writers need to focus on consistency of characters. They can't keep going about like a pendulum. Decide karlo kisko negative rakhna hai and kisko positive🤪

Or maybe Shivi thought mai vaise bhi iss ladke se shaadi nahi karne waali so why to bother Ram bhai🤪

Yeh issue toh Balaji ka constant hai.. It is like har week they hire new writers who are given a memo for the week and unka aage piche ke week ke episodes se koi naata nahi hota
