Chapter - 6
Step 6 : Be confident.
Everyone likes someone who is confident. This is a very attractive quality for boys and girls.
And now since Shiva has a date today with Raavi:
Step 7: Wear clothes that suit you.
Some of your great clothes will certainly capture attention. Wear clothes that fit the current fashions but that you also like and are flattering to your clothing and the shape of your body.
Shiva was cursing that morning, as he stared at his wardrobe.
Why is finding what to wear so goddamn difficult? It was Sunday today and today was his date with Raavi. He need to be perfect for her. His chipkali has pretty high standards and he wants to ace all of them. He has been standing and rummaging for atleast two hours now and an hour is left before noon- the time in which they agreed to meet up.
The door opened and his bhabhi emerged from outside. She looked really happy and excited.
"Kya baat hein, Shiva? Pareshaan lag rahi ho." Dhara asked seeing her favorite brother-in-law pouting at his clothes.
"Kuch nahi bhabhi.... Just looking what should I wear?" Shiva said smiling not wanting to worry her.
"Aree wah, Is this really the Shiva I know? The man who doesn't care about what others will think is suddenly interested in what kind of clothes he looks good in?" Shiva blushed but didn't say anything.
"Waise, why don't you wear that black-checkered shirt? The one Raavi gave you. She would be very happy if you wear it." Dhara spoke looking at the packet kept within the layers of other clothing.
Shiva looked at his bhabhi in realization. His bhabhi was a genius. She always has a solution to his problems. No wonder his oldest brother is happy and content with his life. And he also dreams to have a happy and content life like him. And only Raavi can provide him that life.
"Bhabhi, you're a genius. Thank you!" Shiva exclaimed looking at his new shirt. Dhara smiled at him and patted his cheeks.
"Hamesha aisa hi khush rahe.... And enjoy your date with Raavi!" She chuckled as she saw him smiling while blushing.
Raavi arrived at the place a little away from the store. Shiva was not in the store so he's not here yet. Will the Bhoothnath ghost her? She sure hoped not. Today was the day, she's going to confess her feelings to him. Her Maasi has been looking through matrimonial sites and is forcing her to get married. She can't back out now. Even if Shiva rejects her, she's still gonna risk it and take her chance. Who knows, maybe he likes her too? These few days, he had been seeing a new version of her Bhoothnath. And he insinuated the date in the first place. It gotta mean something....
Raavi was lost in her thoughts of Shiva so she didn't notice a man coming towards her.
"Ae, Khoobsoorat ladki, yahan akeli kya kar rahi ho? Mere saath thoda time spend karlo phir....." He said and Raavi raised her head to meet him, she forced a smile, "No thanks, aur mujhe akela chodo." and her words seem to agitate him.
In a distance, Shiva already saw your form, yet his eyebrows furrowed once he saw some guy leeching over Raavi. "Tu aaj gaya!" He was ready to come to her aid, yet he was met with this sight instead.
"Tujhe samjh nahi aaya kya?" Raavi said as the creep neared her, his hand reaching out to her waist. She grabbed his hand tightly and then kneed him where the sun doesn't shine. He crouched down in pain, leaving her to click her tongue." Mujhe akela chod."
Raavi's eyes lit up once she saw Shiva, waving her hands at him after yelling his name and jumping over to him.
He sighed in relief as he saw that she was fine- he was an idiot for worrying. His Chipkali is pretty strong. She can handle herself fine.
"Shiva, tu itni late kyun?" She pouted and Shiva wanted to kiss those lips. He shook his head. This was not the time for such thoughts. "Mujhe kuch kaam tha." He mumbled while looking at her. She was looking beautiful. A simple black salwar suit with adorned with a red dupatta. Shiva wondered how can she look so beautiful everyday. Well, She is not Somnath's most beautiful girl for nothing.
Meanwhile, Raavi was also ogling at him. Her Chattan Pandya looked so hot. And wasn't this the shirt she bought? The thought bought a bright smile to her face.
"Shiva, you look fine~ Isn't this the shirt I bought that time? I'm glad it suits you." For some reason, her face was red. Was it the sun? He thought. He might as well take her to some shelter. Whatever she is, She still is a phoolkumari.
"Haan, haan, Tu bhi bure nahi lag rahe." Why can't you just compliment her normally,Shiva? "Ab chal, yahan bohot dhoop hein."
"Shiva mujhe pata hein ki mein somnath ki saaaabse sundar ladki hoon."Raavi smirked and linked her arms with his, an action she unconsciously do when she's comfortable with someone. What she didn't know was that mere linking drove Shiva over the edge. This was the first time their this close. His whole body felt hot and warm feelings begun to arise.
" Ae C-chipkali, ab zy-zyaada chipak math." He said though that fell on deaf ears. And he was glad that it did because he made no effort in freeing himself.
"Nahi." was all Raavi said.
Shiva felt accomplished.
Step 7: Completed.
