Legacy and Longing: Inspiring Leaders/Heroes You Want to See Back!
It's because some writers often believe that to show one character to be stronger you need to mess with another one's character sketch. This is why viewers feel disconnected. They don't know how to write tracks where the protagonist and antagonist can both be strong, taking turns winning rounds. This needs a well-constructed track that goes deep. Ashok is such a fine actor, but they wasted his potential. They could have easily explored his back story and explained his motives. Viewers were eager to see that. Th team clearly didn't have their pulse on the audience's interest and had initially planned to do ghisa pita separation tracks but audience backlash forced them to rethink. Since they aren't used to or weren't planning on write a track where the leads don't separate but work together to defeat evil, they botched it big time. They also failed to effectively use people like Farhad or Milind to write an interesting plot, despite knowing how much viewers love these characters.Originally posted by: SONIA441
I think I would be right in stating many of us aren't happy with how the track's impact was basically diluted entirely...I don't unerstand the reason though..is it true that ITV's audience can't accept a good strong narrative or is the Evng slow that eventually forces them to water every major track down
I have never seen any ITV Show actually going for a very strong narrative in these kind of plots & that's why many of us go for the USA/British shows....why can't the makers start giving good strong plots already😕
Hoping both Ved & Mandaar would be back soon when the track requires it & then I hope we get to see what we really want😒
Now it just seems like they are trolling viewers with the Raghvi kya karte hain. They could have easily shown Raghav try to investigate Mandaar but fail to find a clue because the guy was too smart. We would've been ok with it because to us at least the guy was trying and then after a point cracked it. But no, he wasn't even shown trying. Same thing with Pallavi, the could've shown her using her character traits to advance the plot.
Unless they can bring back the essence of RR that we all fell for in the beginning in a way that creates a strong impact while explaining adequately the deviation in his behavior, then the disconnect will remain for good. Many of us follow what's going on with the show behind the scenes, but imagine if we didn't, the entire change in Raghav's behavior would just be unpalatable and totally confusing. Not that it isn't now, but knowing what the team is up to helps viewers stay patient until the new track starts.
In the past I'd be looking forward to a battle of wits between Raghav and Sunny but now I'm not even sure they can deliver Raghav's arc convincingly anymore and any attempt to show that he's got his mojo back will just make me feel even more frustrated about the irreparable damage. I'm here only for Sai. He gave us such amazing moments on screen so I want to be there for him in bad times. It's pretty obvious he is unhappy with what happened but he's a professional and has been soldiering on.
They need to show him being shrewd like this all the time, not just giving us teasers like in the lion's den scene which turned out to be a damp squib.
Congrats for new AT🥳
Good morning everyone🤗
Finally SKR will be in suits only missed seeing him those suits he looks dashing in it.. They should also give Raghav casual t shirts and jeans so I can drool over him more
Same to you 🤗
