I agree that Nutrition & MBBS are two different courses. To be a nutritionist you don't need to do MBBS. That was quite wrong to show.
But for the rest of the things shown,
1) Sonakshi was not Ishwari's personal Nutritionist from the beginning. She was the consulting Nutritionist in a leading clinic & she behaved exactly how a nutritionist is supposed to. That is, prepare diet charts, advice patients what to eat what to not & that's it. She did the same for Ishwari too. But Ishwari refused to follow the chart & Dev decided he needed to turn this Nutritionist into his Mother's personal nurse. That's how Sonakshi ended up in Ishwari Niwas. Dev destroyed her career & forced her into being Ishwari's personal help. Sonakshi was not happy with the demotion either but she did it because she didn't have any other way. Dev had got her blacklisted & she couldn't get another job.
They showed quite a good number of episodes to establish that it was an unusual turn of events. Not a regular occurrence.
2) Sonakshi had to enter kitchen because Ishwari & Radharani thought just "telling" what to eat is no work at all & she is actually supposed to cook for her. By not doing so she's just scamming poor Dev out of his hard earned money. Ishwari taunted her nonstop for not knowing how to cook & even devised a plan to override her chart, eat oily spicy food & fell ill. And for that, Dev came back & shouted at her. So.... she tried to learn cook or at least supervise Kichu Bhaiya more thoroughly.
These were not lack of professionalism on her part. She was forced into doing all these by someone who abused his power & she didn't have any other way out. Not if she wanted to have a "profession" at all.
And series/movie makers do have some responsibility over what they show. Especially when they market their products as "most realistic" etc. That's why shows like Pehredar Piya Ki etc faced backlash & the makers were forced to pull it off air. Because it was sending out wrong message. That's why period dramas run a disclaimer that they are not vouching for historical accuracy. It's fictionalized. You need to be clear about what you are showing. In India, children from their teens start watching these dramas simply because their Mommy Didi or Bhabhi is watching them. So it's ethically important to at least show the right thing. The way these ITV series have totally normalised the male leads abusing the female leads & the female leads being okay or all lovey dovey with it, is wrong & it will stay wrong irrespective of however way you try to justify it.
Small (very very small) mercies that other shows at least try to show the male lead realising his wrongdoings & changing for the better....but KRPKAB doesn't bother on that front either. They did a sloppy job at it in the season 1 & then with season 3 undid even whatever little they had done 🤦🏻 And then you see the makers, casts everyone promoting it saying it's the most realistic show ever
