And that's where I am not sure if that goal is achieved or not.
Show's online and overseas fandom would definitely lose interest with this announcement and I am not sure if a lot of people would even care about what happens in the story now if there's no Adi in the Adilie. Wouldn't TV audience react similarly too once the news are announced officially?? I mean it's a proven fact that TV audience is not interested in Didi drama and with the news of GM leaving now, wouldn't they too leave the bacha kucha interest people might've had??
Honestly speaking, this leaves really bitter taste in my mouth as a fan and follower of the story and the lead characters. I am sure I am reciprocating majority of the audience's reaction here, but this just feels very adhura, especially if they knew that he was leaving. They could've very well given a proper closure to Adilie's arc, if he gave any advance notice, unless it's a last minute decision with him just breaking all the ties over some creative disagreement. Of course, it didn't look like that on that video but I can't really think of any other reason, especially the way story has been moving since last few weeks along with ST's janmaashathami promo in full suhaagan bahu avatar and all. What's the purpose of Mahasaptah if Adi won't be there to witness anything?
GM seems to be very aware of the platform he was given with the character of AKT and with new actors coming every day, I am sure competition is not any less to get an opportunity on the TV or show biz industry in general. He was very grateful for having AKT as a household name and if his ambitions were/are to make not only AKT but GM a household name too, him quitting the show at this juncture does not make sense. His departure raises way too many questions apart from Imile too...
