Yup!. And they dont give her monologues or talking to mirror etc where her thoughts become clear. To Raghav they gave lungi wala Raghav.
My two cents And I could be wrong-and this is solely my personal reading please dont come after me with jhadu...:
The way SKR markets the RR persona online as flawless and layered ( inspite of obvious anger issues thar RR did have) , I personally feel he did that marketing within team too, CVS, dialogue writers..most crew is Male is easier for guys to gel after work or just during the set. Esp until post marraige track lots of pictures of SKR with Hemant Prabhu the then director and constant talk of improvisations etc. They came up with Lungi wala Raghav also during this time, giving SKR the opportunity to learn and perform double roles. Sai was hyperfocused on himself...and RR we all know. The crazy female fandom only increased this.
From Shivangi, we didnt see that online promoting herself ,or promoting Pallavi , nor did she come across as trying to promote herself within team, CVS or directors. She came across as the type who trusts her team and directors and does her work along with giving due credit and space to team and other actors.
The one time I felt she( as in Shivangi) did put up a fight was after wedding during RR redemption track, first they were going to have RR stay at Ds and win them over effectively giving no role to Pallavi there, which changed during the VD necklace incident times and we saw Pallavi taking initiative and also fighting with VD and whole giving RR priority thing. I can tell you exact scenes where I got this vibe. Sometimes in a scene you can tell if the anger is real..
I do feel they had lots of creative differences and then team started giving that importance to Pals.
Now with Mandar also I think there were many opinions but ultimately team bowed to fans wishes , fans could not see SKR sidelined a bit.
My point is how actors over marketing or under marketing also influences audience perspective of the character. I personally feel in the long run the calmer "I will promote myself less but will let my work do the talking for me" approach I see with Shivangi works the best.
Again this is my reading, people may agree disagree but dont judge me on it. ❤️
