I have only liked Hrithik in movies like Lakshya, Fiza etc. I don't think he was good in KNPH either.. and that fake accent.. was so badly done. lol

Jodha Akbar main bhi Akbar se zyada Hritik nazar aa raha tha. 😆

I would however rate Salman lower than HR.

There’s more to just Yaadein & MPKDH. Don’t forget about Aap Mujhe Ache Lagne Lage (his face was vibrating more than a Nokia phone. In fact, he looked like me vibrating when I try to plank). Then there is Na Tum Jano Na Hum and first half of Mujhse Dosti Karogi.

He is definitely way ahead of Salman. There is no comparison. Salman can’t act for shit. Aamir is debatable since he has better range (comedy/drama). Of course you’d limit SRK’s entire filmography to just two movies, even though he has excelled in romance roles, antihero characters, and has way better comic timing than HR.

You should watch Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa if you haven’t. I consider it one of his most finest and underrated performances

Hrithik is an excellent BW star. He looks good, dances well, flexes muscles and is an average actor. I haven't really found anything great about his performances - they are performances.. you can see the wheels churning in his head as he tries to play the role. It always seems a bit artificial.

The two movies that I thought he was actually really good in was the supporting role in Luck By Chance and Guzaarish.

But the roles that people really brag about I find quite overrated. In Jodha Akbar, I thought Ash was better than him. The Koi Mil Gaya role ended up being unintentionally funny.

But I always look forward to a Hrithik movie anyway. He's handsome and picks pretty decent films and it's a joy watching him dance.

You spoke my mind. He is an above average actor. Has done good performances but nothing amazing or out of the box like SRK in Swades/ Chak de India or Aamir in Dangal. Heck even Ranveer and Ranbir have given more memorable performances than him.

Hrithik has acted well in every film except d ones released in 2001 and 2002 ( barring K3G - he was good in dat). I think he was too head over heels in love with Bebo at that time, so he wasn't concentrating on his acting.

See that is why I say that the era of superstars is over with the Khans, Hritik, Kumar and Devgans.....ye jo nai generation ke stars hai...they are all Friday to Friday wale stars.....their movie will come and there will be hype around them , few fanwars and then sannaataa....and look at the superstars....SRK has not even announced a movie in the last 3 years.....and yet on social media.....people discuss him...good or bad is another story....but the thing is he is still more relevant than any other actor....😆
