We may be of different opinions, Prema, but I believe writers have done an excellent job with Shiva as a character. He is one character that had got me glued me to the show in the first place and still does.

I was watching Dear Comrade today, and it reminded me of the Shivi situation today. I have watched it only till intermission.

Shiva is one character that, despite hitting rock bottom Keeps me intrigued. There were certain similar emotions I felt while watching Dev D too. Similarly, there was a movie long ago by Sri Ram Raghavan about Ek Haseena tho! Also, Saif, from being Cyrus.
