Every show has good and bad tracks- all frustration aside, MHRW is still leaps and bounds better than content being served in many other shows.

Your post is bang on and the respect for the feedback of genuine audience members also reflects in how he talks in his interviews. I feel he wants to make good shows - shows that break the cliche moulds of ITV. and is concerned about his industry (he said that media houses troll/ spread rumours TV shows and not films).

It is great that he comes on an interview/ live to address important points which worry the audience and acknowledge how much we love the show. Another important point i have observed is you will always see him give credit to his team and never take any credit himself. He is connected to his cast and that shows as well. He is just not a boss sitting in another city while the crew is elsewhere.

He is happy that audiences are becoming progressive and he is able to portray strong FLs. His portrayal of MILs itself shows how his thinking is. He course corrected the track when he realised the audience wasnt very happy.

WRT to the show, I agree with you Ashi that MHRW is miles ahead of other shows when it comes to acting, characterization, execution, social issues and the like. Sickand deserves all the praise.

This turned out to be a bigger appreciation post than I intended...
