Poor Alice,

they were tying to show this highly upset , confused, jiddi, dobi ladki putting up act that she is not hurt.

That step added to shade light on her mental fog.

Was good addition in my opinion.

She was not dancing in joy or for fun , it was kaand dance- So this works.
