Pardes is good. It has showed that there are different kinda persons. One is like zubeida who has no self respect and one is like aimen who knows to fight for her rights.

If aymen wanted to fight for her rights, she should have politely declined her dad's request to marry till her education is completed instead of expecting men in her life to stay back in Pakistan... Her mom had a miserable life because she choose to be a doormat, not because her dad went abroad... Millions of desis work abroad, iska matlab yeh toh nahi ki their spouses are miserable... This phobia of going abroad doesn't make sense.
