I was talking about this contrast about Pallavi and her place as a queen in RR mansion as compared to being a servant / maid / cook in D house to my friends this morning.

It sought of broke my heart when she said I'll quickly make some breakfast! It was nice to see Amma brushing it off and Raghav too mentioning it to her that how inconsequential that is! She is not meant for that!

Whereas in D house it is something that has been expected out of her in the name of calling her a daughter!

How deep it might have settled into her psyche that she felt she needed to do that as the DIL in that house.

Soni woh besharam family mazze lekar kba bhi rahi thi what pallavi is cooking... Woh aayi ka dhyan rakhe, woh khana banaye when it's not even her house anymore. Baki sab including the men in the family haath pe haath rakh ke baithe.
