Growing up I've seen all possible shows but no one touched my heart the way this one did. It was all thanks to how the characters were written and performed. I've always felt that this show represented the theme of don't judge a book by it's cover. The ever loving D family always mistreated Pallavi but the ruthless don always respected her. Despite being the villian, he turned out to be the real hero while Mandar being the good man turned out how he did.

I accept I did the same mistake writing off Mhrw and saishi by judging them but today I'm so smitten I can't even say.

Their flaws make them human. I've loved how they brought out the best in each other. Like they complement each other so perfectly.

Raghvi always were attracted to each other and it was quite obvious in how they used to check each other out. They had a spark and they knew it but couldn't act on it due to all the misunderstandings they had.

They unwired the cliche.

Now even if Vijay shoots Mandar after knowing his true face, I really can't accept his redemption because he is one egoistic and MCP person. When eating the food today, he didn't have an iota of shame that this is the same girl I have thrown out of the house and now I am eating food cooked by her ? And yesterday when mandar said go out for shopping, he went aaram se without even bothering about his wife who is paralyzed. I hated both the instances - Like pallavi is an aayah to Sharda and a glorified house maid for the D house.

Honestly, I felt in the office sequence, Raghav would have asked Mandar to pay up to show him his place. That would make the D family realise what Raghav has done and how they've been treating him and his family. Everyone in that family conveniently took money from Raghav but no one is bothering to pay up except for false promises.

I agree VD is beyond redemption for me after all he's done. I think the kasam and wanting to separate Raghvi due to his own ego did it for me. In addition to the points you made, he commented yesterday that he doesn't want an outsider to cook food. I was so glad Sulochana called him out and asked him to cook if he wanted.

If they can afford to hire a cook and others in the family don't have the time or inclination to cook, why not? So misogynistic!!

I don't mind Pallavi caring for aayi coz she has supported Pallavi over Mandar and I feel she deserves atleast 1 soul who cares for her (just imagine her own husband and son turned out to be so rotten)

I totally agree with what you are saying. When I used to come on Hotstar the promo they had for MHRW was the marriage promo - Pallavi Deshmukh yeh shaadi nahin blah blah kind of promo. I was like Dang this is so so regressive. Do I even want to watch this crap show. Then I watched the episode of Raghav feeling overwhelmed when he comes to know the truth of Sulo framing Keerti and Jaya in the MMS Kaand and he asks forgiveness from Pallavi.

That episode stole my heart and I watched the next 2 episodes just to see how the story goes forward. When Vijay in D house says that he doesn't trust Pallavi and Lungi wala Raghav makes his first entry, I was blown by the interaction of Raghav and his inner self. The way Raghav very casually mentions that Pallavi is his wife and he is going to fight for her just like he always fought for his amma and his sister - That sealed the deal for me. Because till now Indian TV has this weird habit of pushing off everything from the carpet in guise of romance and a hot male lead. Everything is saath khoon maaf if the romance between leads clicks. For the very first time, I admire this show for showing the true repentance of the male lead and that too while keeping the core characteristics intact. And when I went back and watched the whole show from the beginning, I was completely blown away by the character arcs and the story line. Suffice to say, this will end up as one of my favorite all time shows.

I don't know what is with Sickand and psycho villains but everyday a new kaand of Mandar is seriously creeping me out. Today I really didn't think we will get a Laddoo kaand. I was so pissed off seeing him forcefully feed Pallavi. Why does Sickand put these kind of scenes. Agar filler hi rakhna tha toh give something else na - something like Pallavi reminiscing her time with Raghav or Farhad and Amma discussing or something like that. Why do we need 3 - 4 mins of Mandar's creepiness in every single episode. We get that he is creepy and he is psycho - bas please ab aur nahin,

Honestly after watching Mahesh, I find Mandhar's antics very mild. The laddoo scene didnt bother me as much as the "chest massage" eventhough it wasn't technically Pallavi doing it but I mean..how could he even demand such a thing? Now tomorrow he is gonna set her saree on fire hoping she will take it off infront of him? But she runs out of the room into open space which is smart eventhough there are quick and more effective ways of putting out fire. Just want Raghav to enter D house this week..That alone can save Pallavi and all of us from this daily dose of creepiness.
