Honestly I think they purposefully chose someone who would look bechari no matter what she does, coz Malini's character is like that - she is not a strong woman and wants to use her bechargi as an excuse to get out of any situation. Having a stronger actor would have meant that the script needed to have a better character arc for Malini to justify that actor. Since the arc itself is so thakela and everything she does is whitewashed, koi bhi kare, itna hi irritating hoga - I am not justifying Mayuri's acting - that is a whole other story and I do not want to do any bashing of any actor.

I am just saying that Malini as a third lead is a half baked on toned character at best and a very immature, irritating and downright despicable character at worst. Hence to pull it off they needed someone who would look bechari abla naari, no matter what she did to ensure she got the sympathy votes in this controversial premise. Hence we are stuck with her doing what she knows best - give the same bechargi expression no matter the situation.

So I skipped the first part -

Honestly don't know how that sort of allergic reaction comes from choking on a pill

Moving on to the confrontation

Finally finally everything's out in the open

Claimed I and only I am Aditya's biwi 🤦🏻‍♀️

Aage kya hi bataye of DD's delusions

Yehi toh fark hain in truth and illusions

Yehi toh fark hain in love and zid

Love allows you to let go but zid binds you in!

Look at her poise and dignity

Imlie proves just how much beyond her years she is with this maturity

Unlike others who can just claim to be mature

And can stoop to any levels for the obsession they nurture!

She dint speak a word which was demeaning or the untruth

Unlike the other woman who couldn't accept the truth

Loved Imlie's dialogues today. I don't think my rhymes can do justice to that part especially with fever being the foe to making them in the first place.

When there was no pyaar Adhithya didn’t want recognising their relationship ( even though he some what accepted sub consciously) and even imlie questions him what is between us , if you have no answer don’t come around me(pd3 first hug episode, words are not same).

If there is no love in relationship, it will become burden only. This is the case in Malini a grand wedding has take place .. but it is not build up on love then it fall apart. By claiming a relationship does not give anything to you. Malini is now doing this.

Today where imlie stand is by the constant effort put by Adhithya in there relationship. Imlie’s stern answers come from Adhithya’s constant assurance, at multiple stages. Even imlie follows & accept there marriage, she never ready to acknowledge or Take adhithya’s name as husband to any other person… for a long time , now this has changed.

It’s very nice to watch imlie have not backed out at any stage. Or any stupid words put forward by MC.

@bold - ohh how i wish malini understood this... love builds the relationship and respect nurtures it and support strengthens it.. malini's relationship didnt have the base and expecting to be in a marriage where only one of the two has love for another is most ridiculous thought... but she will understand it only once she sees with her own eyes..

Completely in agreement. So I think I posted elsewhere too...I think I do not disagree with that scene. AKT knows the level of nonsense the family will rile up with..so one he wanted to get out from there asap, because na toh he has any patience for Imlie's insults nor does he have any endurance left in him for Malini ke natak! Atleast that is how I want to perceive that scene...ab samosas toh kha nahi sakta...bahar ki hawa kha leta hun saath mein yeh kaam bhi kar aata hun! .😆

But now right into that scene,,,such bad writing! This was definitely a last minute insert...kuch bhi likh diya..just to make sure Adi aint there where AC and family is ganging up on Imlie and when Imlie has her face off with Malini!
