Only person who looks good in jamdani saree right now is tupur. Her look is era appropriate. Whereas sampoo looks like she is ready to go to someone's wedding everyday. I detest looks in which one can't differentiate between special occasions and normal days. Then the wow factor goes. Like bon pooja look was good because it was something different.
Even though bon looks beautiful, looks very ajeeb in the landscape of bengal. No one wore sleeveless blouses in those days honestly speaking . Sometimes it looks like bon time traveled back from 2021🤣

The whole das family sans Bon gets nice costumes..also the looks & acting skills.

None of their clothes fit their character. Specially sampoo legit terrify me into thinking this is rc's ka bahu look!!!That's why I am worried about bon's after shaadi look.
About Bon's sleeveless and kinda revealing way of wearing sarees, i had a hard time convincing myself that she is from london and educated.Mayb thats why she wears whatever she dims fit.Also,even my great grandma or grandmas used to not wear blouse back in days as bangali woman.
(Yup,i saw my nani like that😲😉)
Also,in historical type show we see woman wearing some makeshift blouse with fabrics which are also sleeveless.
So,i will think it was oka in that time.Bon just made it look classy.
